Description
After learning that Corinda had adopted and had been adopted by Seneel, the two left the glen and wandered to this spot where they sat and talked.
Seneel: mid-range rumble
Corinda: I don't know Seneel, everything is happening too fast for me. I really don't understand what is going on. Your father seems okay with you leaving with me. I just don't know what I'm going to say to the others
Seneel (resting his head on her leg, looking up at her): long, soft rumble (almost like a purr)
Corinda: Thanks, Seneel! I guess just telling them the truth is the best way to handle this, and with your parent's support and blessing, the fae have to accept that you and I are to be together.
Seneel: soft, purring rumble
Corinda: You like to be scratched behind the ears now, please? Sure, I can do that. How's that feel? Ummm, your skins is so soft and warm to the touch. I guess it won't be so bad after all.
Seneel: rumble now so soft it's like a hiss
Corinda: You really like that, don't you? (laughing) If someone had told me even a year ago that I would be learning about magic and have my own dragon, I would have called them crazy! Now look at me and you!
Sarina: Hi! Corinda? How are you doing? Is that Seneel with you?
Corinda: Hi Sarina! Yeah! It's Seneel, I've been adopted by him. We've been sitting here talking about all the changes that have gone on so far. Hey! How come you're not at the council meeting with eveyone else?
Sarina: I said my piece and decided to leave for a while. I get so tired of hearing Aiko being the alarmist and predicting gloom everytime something happens. I decided to wander around and see if I could find you.
Seneel: soft hissing rumble
Corinda: Seneel was wondering if you knew if the latest shipment of food from the shepherds has arrived.
Sarina (laughing): No, not yet. Tomorrow they'll arrive. (looking at Corinda) These dragons eat more than meat, you know. They also eat lettuce and other greens.
Seneel: snorting
Corinda (laughing): You don't like the greens? Well guess what, buddy? you're going to eat your greens whether you ike them or not!
Seneel: snorting and rumbling
Corinda: Really now? (looking at Sarina) And what if I send Sarina to your parents and have her tell them what you just said? What do you think they would do and say? Hmmm?
Sarina (laughing): they'd make him sit there until he ate everything set before him, right Seneel?
Seneel (trying to hide his head): low rumble
Corinda (laughing hard now): I see, well maybe if we come up with something to put on the lettuce and other greens, you might enjoy the taste a bit more?
Sarina: That might work. So what were you and Seneel talking about? You seemed so somber when I came up here.
Corinda (scratching Seneel behind his ears): Oh! Just talking about how things have moved faster than I realized and it's just a bit scary.
Sarina: yeah, I guess it would be scary for you. But I have a feeling that you're going to be fine and now you've got another friend to help you.
Corinda (looking softly at Seneel): Yeah I do! It's kinda nice having him with me. Hmmph! he's fallen asleep.
Sarina: Are you going to stay here for a while? I need to know in case the council has any questions for you. And when they see Seneel by your side, you can bet that there will be a lot more questions.
