Description
This was inspired by the Lore story of Faerie
Exerpt: --- A Faerie's skin is most often monochrome and lustrous but it is not unknown for them to be born with subdued patterns of color on their skin, particularly on their backs, buttocks and thighs. Their eye color is also extremely varied and usually much more striking in contrast to the other races of Mernac. Their eyes are also very often of the same hue as their spectacular wings. Faerie eyes have more to them than fascinating beauty, under certain circumstances they are known to have an almost hypnotic trance effect on many races, particularly males. This is particularly true for all Elves and to only a slightly lesser extent, Humans and Dwarves. This trance does, often referred to as The Curse of a Fae's Eyes does however transcend the gap between Races of the Dark and Races of the Light, for in many cases a Fae's eyes will affect an Orc or a Troll, just as intensely as it does an Elf. The trance state is one akin to a strong lustful emotion; love, complete adoration, and subservience all combined. Those who fall prey to its effects will often sacrifice all that they have, up to, and including their own lives to protect the Faeries from danger - or even to simply fulfill any of the Faeries' slightest whims. The trance last anywhere from a few hours to several months in some cases it will last the affected creatures' entire life. These trances, and when and why they work, are all but unknown to most races; however, it is known that Faeries use this to attract and control mates (usually Elves) during their reproductive cycle, every three years. An impregnated Faerie may or may not give birth to a Faerie, but only female Faeries will be accepted into the Faerie group. All other offspring must be given to others to raise - or in some cases left in the forest to let the Mother of Nature decide their fate. ---- This is V4 - customized morph texture and minor shader in nymph dress with Thistledown accessories Though I like the image, it turned out a bit more ominous, hmmm - no, that is not the word... "scary" no that is not quite it either anyway ... more (????) than I intended. Airianna is a much more bubbly character than this shows, though she does have some deep dark secrets - maybe I was subconsciously portraying that? 'spose I could have twirled the brightness on Photoshop. But it lost the hypnotic look when I tried. The intent was to feature the eyes. Fae eyes and the effect (trance) they have on people, particularly men is a very important aspect to many of my stories. The eyes I do like. In any case, Hope you Like Airianna's Eyes. By the Way, actively looking for Artists and writers to help with my Mernac project. Give me a shout if you're interested. Rick
