Description

I am trying to capture this same area in each of the 4 seasons, so far its been a challenge we get snow here probably a dozen times a year, but it doesnt always last long, so you got to be quick lol. It did snow again today, but this picture here I took about 2 weeks ago, it is a few miles from my home and where I love to go walking at night. The one below is one I posted when I first joined Renderosity, and I used it on my calendar this year, a few of you may recognize it. Well I am going to tune in the Academy Awards and relax for the night, hope you all have a Enjoyable Sunday.

I lovely scene. Very tranquil and romantic setting. And the colours are spectacular. Don't be too upset for the lack of snow in your part of the world. It can be too much trouble where I come from. Though it does make for good photography.

No difference between Tennessee and norhern Germany. The pic could be taken here in my area. Some days ago we have had a lot of snow, today it rains and all is nearly gone. Temperatures went down till -25 Degrees Celsius. Many of the younger people here haven ´t seen a winter like this in their lives, and they didn`t know what "Winter Service" for a car meant....LOL Wonderful project with this different times round a year.

Lovely landscape. Just enough snow to make it interesting, and not so much it turns the image into a B&W.

it's a similar pov to the early one, but a very different picture! I love the play of drooping (frozen) leaves over the background branches, and the crisp wintry detail overall. Also, your composition takes us from the lower portion to a journey up the bank & its changing colors. (A wonderful patch of rust red up there.) The foreground tree pulls it all together. It's nice that you're chronicling this many times a year, I'll have to go back and look for them in your gallery. Thanks for this, it's a true winter capture of your area, and I find it beautiful. (Enjoy the oscars, btw!)
