Description

I thought and thought about what to write to you this day. I could tell you about the weather or perhaps I could tell about the wind and how it blows through the window cracks inside my house. So I let my thoughts roam around a bit as they sometimes do and guess what? Out popped another thought. It was bright... it was light. Why, it was stupendous to be sure. It even made my toes curl a bit. It is funny how I can remember that one with me getting up in the years as I am. There I was... just standing and staring into space and your face popped out right in front of me. Now you know I ain't the fancy kind. Just plain and simple will do. But even this time-weathered heart could see that there was something a going on with you. So I thought to my self... Self, that's the politeness in me, Self what are we gonna do? How sad this person is... perhaps they missed their lunch. Now normally Self doesn't answer. But on this special occasion, it did. The answer to my question was almost mystical in nature. But I do believe that it is true. Alright you... stop moping around. That was Self talking. Self is short on words and quick to the point. It's high time that you and I took stock of our lives. I don't mean what social events we might have ahead of us... and by the way, they do matter. It's time that we sat down and took a look to see what we could do. As you might have guessed by now I translate for Self as Self only talks in Selftonian. So there we were, me and Self, and we were thinking of you. You looked so sad and lost and at first we didn't know what to do. Little by little, bit by bit, me and Self gathered our wits about us. We mulled the information over from every side that we could and even turned it inside out for good measure. So down to the end we come. Me and Self have deliberated on this one. It's high time that you got up and started doing things for yourself. It's high time that you stopped staring into space and find your soulful place. Now that it is said and done I have just one last comment. Would you get up and stop staring at your self in the mirror. I haven't got all day to lollygag around. Now that's a surprise ending if there ever was one. How divine. How simply divine. Our thought for the day is: If I were the character Alice in the story 'Alice in Wonder Land,' what would I see in my looking glass?
