This is a variation on "In the Stronghold" (http://www.renderosity.com/mod/gallery/index.php?image_id=1832411), with more figures and more detail in the scene. The structure is built from major elements of ratracer's Bleak Future Condominium, but rescaled and rearranged in Poser to fit the sub. The structure parts were imported from Poser into Carrara Pro, duplicated, further rearranged, and augmented with detail elements from ratracter's Slimy Sewers and from coflek-gnorg's Steampunk Towers and Cyberpunk Streets. The submarine is Helmut Schaub's Nautilus. The mooring lines are built from kawecki's Ropes Construction Kit. The figures were individually posed in Poser, imported into Carrara, and distributed in the scene. The crew are all Miki 2 with Xurge 3D's Light Armored Nano Suit and DAZ's Rievel hair. The captain (on the conning tower) is Tipol's Miralden with Xurge 3D's Paladin Armor. The water plane, lighting, and environmental effects are native Carrara, with Digital Carvers Guild Terrain Effects. Because of an apparent limitation on the number of Miki-Nano-Rievel figures loadable at one time, the scene was rendered in multiple passes and combined in post processing. Except for the compositing and signatures, the image is as rendered.
