Description

I've been reading the series of books by Diana Gabaldon, titled "Outlander". It's historical fiction with some battling, some strategy, some romance and some sci-fi. I fell in love with the books and the characters, in particular th main couple, Jamie and Claire. This is my rendition of Jamie, young Jamie, as the books take you through their entire lifetme.. I gather one of the books may become a movie - YAY. Jamie is described as a tall, 6'4" scottsman with some Viking ancestry, fiery red hair, bordering on auburn, and deep blue 'cat-like' eyes, and a curvy wide mouth. So, this is the way I imagine him, as best as I can do a portrait. His mouth gave me the hardest time, I couldn't get it wide and as the book says curvy, without making it as plump as it is, couldn't find the right morph. I may have to play with morphs more, or export it and do some morphing in zbrush. This is all just dial spins so far.

Very very good.. I've not read the books, but he looks very much like one of my exes.. and he's a tall scott/irish mix.. so I'd say you pretty much nailed it.

I love the Outlander series and you've captured the young Jamie pretty much the way I invision him as well! You've done an outstanding job turning the words of the author into a fine image.
