Description

While Corinda was being adopted by Seneel, the Fae Council was in full discussion about her Magical Aptitude Test results. Telmah was invited to join the discussion as a full-fledged member of Fae Valley. After hearing everyone's comment and being able to make decisions rationally, she decided it was time to speak her mind.... Telmah: Good evening to all members of Fae Valley! I speak to you tonight about Corinda's test results. I hope that you will listen to what I have to say and weigh in your hearts and minds the following words I am to speak. at this point, even the night sounds seemed to fade away, as if in anticipation of Telmah's words. Telmah: Let me tell you first of my past, as I feel now that it is important for you to know it. As you have determined, I was designed and built by humans as a war machine. However, in their designing of my mind, they allowed me the options to decide when and where to wage war. I was sent to scout about and around Fae Valley and the surrounding areas to determine if you were as big a threat to the rest of the humans as they thought. If you were, I had instructions to deal with you as I saw fit.... when I saw how you lived, how you treated your fellow fae and the humans around you, I had my doubts on your threat level. When you adopted me as a member of Fae Valley, I resolved then that I would NOT wage war on you, rather, if war came here, I would wage it with you! In your defense! You ask my views about Corinda's Magical Aptitude Test results. I give you my thoughts now. For better or for worse, she has the potential for great magic. How you treat her and train her will determine how she will do in the future, especially after she starts learning the magic. If you treat her with respect and are willing to take the time to teach her not only the how of the magic but the why, she will be a great asset to Fae Valley and the surrounds. I have read the history of Fae Valley and have talked with your elders and I have learned much from them. Yes, it is unusual for a human to display so much potential, but it has happened in your past, many, many centuries ago and Fae Valley survived then! Train Corinda right and Fae Valley will survive now and in the future. I would ask that I be allowed to take this Magic Appitude Test and see what the results would be... (you could have heard a pin drop in the leaves) thank you for all your nice comments and faves. Have a great Tuesday Mike

you know what happened to me reading the story,i saw Telmah beeing built and designed,and luckily a good guy decided to put a script in,if i may say so,to let her decide where and if,she would take what decisison-liberty in fact. thats what we do have, the freedom to decide wich way we go-although not all of us are in this favorite situation,i am aware of this. but we,who have been raised in liberty,democracy,relative security and all the things we now regard ,the way a master looks at a slave: you are mine and i dont give a rats a..or so. why do we become like this ??? we have not been born to hurt each other out of bad purposes. great story,great composition and strong messages all along the way the story goes. to read it,is a must-lol!!!!!!!!!!!!
