Description
Vue 7I, Rock Generator: I came up with a receipe for building Stalagmite-type walls for caverns, caves, and canyons. The trick was to use cylindrical mapping to make the layers work. This scene uses 2 procedural terrains for the floor and ceiling and a metablob for the wall that I mapped with the displaced layered Stalagmite material. Might be a nice place to store some wine.
P.S. You might want look at this one full size since the textures have a lot of detail in them
Edit: Added some hanging stalactite. The hanging stalactite is an ecosystem of Vue cone objects mapped with the same displaced layer material as the back cavern wall at half the scale and more highlight intensity.
