I always thought the song Listen To The Mockingbird was upbeat and cheerful, but after reading the complete lyrics I see now I was way off base. Still, they have beautiful calls, and they are quite active in my area right now, especially at daybreak. This one I photographed last Sunday while it was taking a break from singing.
For you trivia buffs, Listen To The Mockingbird was one of Abe Lincoln's favorite songs. It is now in the public domain.

That is a great shot. Love the bird off to one side and the DOF makes the focus detail nicely asymmetrical. We don't have mockingbirds so this is a treat for me!
