You're doing great so far as you've got Anah, your subject centered in the frame. It almost looks like you've got a ghost image of her hands and the card. I'm not sure what that is from other than maybe she moved as the shutter cycled or something else that I'm unaware of. great picture of her

Perhaps you can simulate HDR with Photoshop or Gimp. Great shot indeed!!

First thing you have to do is get control of the camera in manual mode (if possible) this means you are setting the ISO, Shutter speed and aperature value yourself and not allowing the camera to decide for you. This is an indoor bar shot, I assume, assisted by flash. From the EXIF data it looks like it fired with ISO 100 at its widest aperature (F2.8) - The ghosting and blurriness could have been eliminated by bumping up to ISO 200 or 400- I dont think you have control on that particular camera for Shutter speed, so all you can do is change the ISO and aperature. Just remember- the less light, you will need to increase ISO and aperature to capture a clean and crisp shot. This one isnt bad at all, but if you want to do better you have to evaluate your surroundings and control the camera. If photography is a serious hobby you want to pursue, then you'll have to ditch that point and shoot and go for a nice SLR that you can select lenses for and completely control. All in all, its a nice shot with a few artifacts, but the subject is well framed- she has a very nice glow to her when she smiles and obviously she inspires you ;) Take it to the next level- control your camera then once you have a feel, buy an SLR that lets you proceed to fulfill your dream- if you have enough passion to do something you will find a way to make it possible- and to finance it by turning your hobby into a side business-- thats what I did!
