Description

Sorry about the lower resolution than usual. I couldn't coax Carrara to rendering any higher without it crashing to the desktop. This is however, exactly half the resolution of my regular preference. I couldn't even manage 1280. Looks like I'm going to need more ram to make this girl really dance. And I pretty much tried everything - shader optimization, reduced tile size, and about everything else including a bare-bones fresh reboot. The bike needed to be converted to .obj, then a bit of smoothing out in some pieces. Also had to do the rigging for this model so the steering works, wheels spin, and the rear drive train shock absorber works. Some of the body parts needed re-zoning for shaders. I didn't have any glossy metallic paint shaders, so I experimented making one. Hopefully it came out allright. Anyways, this is inspired by a TV series that aired years ago. E-Cigar to the viewer who guesses it correctly! Credits: Motorbike by Abraxal (converted and brought into Carrara), Flexify for V4 hair by Out of Touch, Kudos to Ross for the sexy title. Thankyou for viewing. Comments, constructive criticism and opinions are always and especially welcome.

nice work and cool pov - and yes i still have those render probs in c7 - lots of memory allocation errors with bigger resolution - it doesn't crash - but when the trouble starts i have to reboot anyway :( - we just can keep on trying and waiting for an update.

thx for commenting and sharing about C7! Still using C6 here, on a machine w/ 2gb ram. I don't know if i'll jump to c7 or not. I'm secretly hoping they'll port over to 64bit engine.

Very kool scene ... she appears to have very good aim!, Like the pov and shadows. C6/ did you try clearing the temp files! That works for me most times, you may have different issues.

Cool scene, looks like it could be the north end of the "Terminator terminated render. Some of the bike detail seems to be lost in the shadows.
