I agree with everyone, especially Tim (november22): Your brushwork is very vital and it has a nice sweep. And your colors are very expressive too. This has a simplicity to it yet it has power; and the red 'stamen-head' (whatever that saturated red object is!) is a wonderful presence against that dark background. If you don't know the paintings of Georgia O'Keeffe, I recommend them to you: Try to see the largest prints possible (they're on the web) because she worked quite big in many instances. Your brushwork and some of your colors remind me a little of her & you might be inspired by her if you don't already know her work. (She was one of the greats of the 20th C.) Fine work, will comment on your first one next time...
