Description

Hi everyone .. Ive been quite busy all week but yesterday I went out and was in heaven with these little chickadees in the wild and forest eating from my hand .... I must say tho it was not easy taking these photos with one hand lol but I took quite a few and they came out.. there was about 6 different ones that landed on my hand..hes looking in my direction because I think he heard the camera clicking... I have many sitting in my hand and some flying away .. it was such a fabulous experience to feel them on my hand and for them to trust me enough to come to me thanks for looking :)

This is fun, you need to be patient. I remember years ago starting with a wide brim hat and seed on it - then put some sunflower seeds in my hand as the chickadees got brave. I do not have photos like these. Excellent Lu!

It's a nice feeling and you got a great shot too! It's hard to get a good exposure that shows any eye detail.

Oh Lu what a wonderful privilege for you to touch this wee beautiful birds!!!! Well done for taking the shots, as it must have been so difficult even to dare move at all - I love this pic so much. I remember looking at whaleman's shot too when he took a pic of a lovely bird on his hand. I would just love to be able to do this one day. take care Lu, hugs Jane xx

That's absolutely AMAZING! For wild birds to land on anyone's hand is astounding, honestly--it just about never happens! Beautiful shots, and a wonderful memory for you, too!
