My name is Tara, and I was born and raised in Washington State.
In 2010 I married Bill (bmac62) and retired ... two of the best choices I ever made! :)
In March, 2013, we sold our home in Washington and went on the road in our RV full time. What a blast! There is so much world out there to see!
After traveling around the West for a few years, we got rid of the motorhome and are now spending winters in deep-south Texas and summers in Washington State. Spring and fall finds us visiting whichever place strikes our fancy at the time!
If I’m missing from Renderosity from time to time, I’m busy having fun elsewhere.
Thanks for your interest in my work, and for stopping by to learn more about me!

Great capture of this unique fountain!!!

A fountain? I thought at first you were referring to Pete Fountain, but in contrast to the foto above, he plays the clarinet and not any brass instrument. Anyway a spectacular capture of this tortuous melange of saxophones. Can't tell one from the other without a program. I bet it's not much fun trying to separate one from the other, especially when you're in a hurry.

Beautiful shot, Tara. I'm not surprised that you're getting lots of comments; we all appreciate good sax.

(someone probably already wrote "sax appeal," so I'll spare you) This got a huge "wow" from me, one because I was a musician many years and played with sax players, and also because sax players like John Coltrane & Sonny Rollins send me into other worlds, and somehow this captures the whole feeling of sax playing to me. I love the piece, and yeah, you can't get it in one angle, but you sure got the cacophony of it, the wild rhythms & sheens & 'music' of it, I love the shot. (And there are some other oddities in it too, wheels, some long metal tubes, what a melange!) In addition to liking the shot, the lighting, etc., I'm just happy you posted it period. A "you gotta see this to believe it" shot if there ever was one. Great piece, thanks so much for sharing it.

Good Lord! Look at all those saxophones! I can see the water pouring out... Was there any sound - I suppose just trickling....? Wow... talk about "water music"...lol.
