Description
Marina, California, north of Monterey. I loved how perfectly smooth the ocean was at this moment. Not too much later, the wind came up and it got choppy and ugly. Didn't stop the surfers, though!! (Someday I'm gonna get a shot of the "surfer's dressing room"--if I'm lucky, I'll get the full Monty version!!)

Between Tara's Sex Fountain and your Full Monty, I'm gonna need sunglasses pretty soon! LOL This is a very peaceful Pacific shot...one that we don't see often.

It looks a lot smoother here than it does up close, though...one thing about the Pacific off California, it's almost never perfectly smooth and calm! Beautiful relaxing capture, I wish I was lying on the beach in the sun (remember those days, before the skin cancer threat became so engrained?)

well if "full monty" is a play on "monterrey" you have my undying respect. (I know it was a movie too, but still...) Nice sweeping capture, the sameness of the ocean but also the majesty. Nice that you have the water as 5/6 of the shot...in this kind of shot that makes a visual impact. I surfed once btw, and after flying ohhhhhhhh, 7000-8000 feet and seeing most of planet earth, I decided this wasn't for me. (The board showed up on a different ocean...) More nice views of the world you live in...

Such an amazing sight! The constant motion makes this shot so extra special. I do love it when the ocean seems to pause and hold it's breath.
