Kael Oran's Statement: Kael: I was excited. Nervous, really. I wanted to meet real space aliens more than anything. Because of my mother. She came from Maris, and stumbled across humans here at Blue Gorge by surprise. My father was a real bastard. Captured her and raped her. He died in a cave-in when I was six. My mom died six years ago when I sixteen. I think from cancer. Don't give me that look. I know it's cured everywhere else, but this planet is primitive and backwards. Not to mention radioactive! How'd it happen? I'm getting to that. I heard that strangers had arrived and my uncle ,Sen, was bring them over to the administrative center. I got dressed in my best and limped on down. I was out of breath when I got there. What? No, I'm in alright shape. It's silicosis in my lungs, and bone cancer in my left thigh. It's radiation, dammit! Are you guys deaf? No, we don't have any working radiation detectors left! It was two HUNDRED years ago! You know...TEN generations? Anyway...she was HOT! Even if she had only one eye, ya know...a cyclops? Have you SEEN the women around here? They give me nightmares. Anyway...the two aliens were already here. Sen was watching them and I knew some of the miners had a lot of fear that they were demons or some kinda crap like that. The people here-abouts are REAL skittish about outsiders, especially the robot-people of the north, and the "goblins" of the deep earth. They mean the Derro. They survived the bombing and have some subterranean cities we've dug onto. Anyway, AGAIN...I thought,"Wow, what a hottie!" I tried to be cool and introduced myself. She said her name was Snowflake and I made some lame joke about her name which caused a cold look. Her friend,Pazu, was looking at the only working computer terminal in the town. I think he wanted to take a look at it. He could have asked me for the passwords, but he had Snowflake keep me occupied, while he hacked in. There wasn't anything in it secured! But, hell! I didn't care, I got to make some time with the cute alien babe! I learned she was an Elementary school teacher, who was interested in anthropology and archeology. I thought that was pretty cool. When I found out she was onto GLASS, I was all like,"Damn, baby!" What? I like glass,too. I've made some bowls and stuff around here. High quality basalt,silica, and borax is the whole reason for the mines here. Without glass, this place would have died when Balaam and it's 'God-Emperor' nuked the hell out of us! Well, we really struck a groove. I chatted her up until that big Tuat class dropship you guys arrived in set down. The landing lights really lit up the computer room. I asked to touch her skin. She said I could, and I wished she was topless, and she laughed. I touched her lips with a finger. They were soft and warm, and she told me she had more silica in her body than any other Cyclops did. I asked what kind of species was she from, and she told me she was "Machine-life"! A robot of some kind? I was stunned and trying not to freak out, when Jost and Nemiah came running in yelling about demons and some kind of crazy stuff! Jost chopped the head off that little demon looking guy,Pazu. I started yelling at them and stood in front of Snowflake. Nemiah stabbed at her and in the jumping about, he stabbed me through the right forearm, and into Snowflake's right hand. The old rusty dagger broke off then. I punched Nemiah in the face as Jost came around to hack at Snowflake. I called Nemiah a retard, and there was a flash behind me. Snowflake had flash-frozen Jost solid! He shattered on the floor! Like glass! Holy GOD! Mist or something raised off of the bits and flowed into her left hand. She then pulled out the broken blade out of my arm, as you guys ran in. I fainted after that. I guess. --TO BE CONTINUED!--
