A majority of tigers caught illegally end up in China, where one of these specimens can reach astronomical prices on the black market under the high value attached to their fur and alleged medicinal properties of some of its parts.
China is trying to lift the ban on trade in tiger parts, to which India is opposed, claiming that this would accelerate the decline in the number of individuals in the wild.

What a wonderful capture this is and yes this is what our world has come to the almighty dollar wins over by taking the lives of some of the most beautiful creatures around so i guess this is a lot of what they mean that man will destroy his self and the world a long with it.

Stunning capture Tony.We have a program here on tv in South Africa called Voetspore in english Tracks.It is a program of a group of people with 4X$ and they are touring through Africa.On Fridays program they showed pe4ople on the roads selling crocodile's and various other animals of the bush.Some still alive and some dead.It didn't enjoy that at all as the 4x4 team didn't enjoy such scenes as well.Here is some more information about the current series of this program:http://www.voetspore.co.za/home.php.Unfortunately it is in Afrikaans.
