nice shot of one of my favorite planes. B-24's were a workhorse of WWII and yet got hardly any notice. Everyone remembers the B-17 or the B-29 but few remember the B-24. A great plane! My stepgrandfather was a tail-gunner and ball gunner on a B-24 which might be one of the reasons that it's my favorite....

Glorious Arizona's sky and a precious silhouette of the B-24. My parents, (I'm Italian from Venice but my parents at that time lived in Rimini on the Gothic Line) told me about the B-24s during the WWII , and of the "Pippos", too (my father during the end of the war, helped to fix their engines). Thank you for sharing!!!
