Hello visitors.
This is the first of three shots of Steller's Sea Eagle (Haliaeetus pelagicus) - a very large bird I found ath the birdpark. He was so kind to pose for some photos.
The Steller's Sea Eagle has a typical size range is 86.5-105 cm long and the wingspan is about 203-241 cm. They breed for example in Russia and Japan.
They are very impressive birds of prey - and the colours of the feathering are very beautiful.
