Description

I had thought to do the second part of

One night in the haunted house,

this time inside the house.

But I did not like the result so I started a new one re-building the house and this is what I have made until now.

A clash of traditional stonework and opportunistic digital mapping of floor tiles. Step back or walk through a doorway. At some point one needs to observe actual castle building to understand how the decision to cut regular patterns is made. Will it hold dirt when swept with a twig broom is one consideration.

very nice work... i'll wait to see the final! just a suggest: the hole, in the center of the scene, needs (HIMO) some more sides, to be more "rounded", smoothed... Bye!

a fine piece of architectural detailing, especially with that hole in the central floor, and all those dark passages out the windows and out the door...mysterious and nicely detailed, and I'll love to see where you go with it and what you add. Fine interior piece, fine work.
