As abstract patterns it is very well constructed with busy patterns in some areas and no patterns in others, lines and shapes, light and dark - flows beautifully. As for realism - I find it strange that the foreground, where we should be able to see details, has no texture at all in the sand, and further sand does. Similarly, the precise horizontal and precise vertical lines in the mountain rocks is surprising, I would have expected more variation in slant and spacing. Nevertheless, aesthetically it looks great.

Another great view. I agree with Artpearl that the foreground sand should have a bit more rugosity. Of course, I know where the rugosity in the background comes from, it's from geocontrol sedimentation algorithm, which is naturally absent in the foreground. So, it's not your fault that there are details in the background but not in the foreground. So you should probably fake some rugosity in the foreground, somehow (not necessarily the same kind as the background, of course), maybe with a common noise node. I completely disagree with Artpearl about the vertical and horizontal lines. I think the materials and shape look very good as they are. Very good indeed. You probably rendered this in GR, which looks great, but you might have exagerated just a little bit in the gain (this is only visible in the two foreground rocks, probably because they're very close to the sand). Very good work!
