Description
This is my first posted art work, so please be gentle. I'm shooting more for a theme then something rendered in a particularly stunning fashion.
Back ground: I used to be terrified, yet fascinated, with the attic access panel in my closet when I was a child. Many nightmares had that access panel as a central theme. To me, this image is terrifying and alluring at the same time. The thought of stepping into the darkness is frightening but also undeniably enticing. To me, it is an image of macabre.
Tell me what you think.

It did shiver me when I saw it...slightly creepy because of the dark unknown! Awesome first!

A great POV of your fear of the attic panel. Just amazing.

Wonderful image, my girls had a fear of our attic access also. We didn't have one when I was growing up or I probably would have been afraid of it too, lol. Excellent pov and lighting for this spooky render. Welcome to the gallery.

Very well done! Nice POV, well-executed theme. By putting the light primarily on the hatch and leaving the face in darkness, it seems to emphasize the unknown quality of whatever is peeking out. The more I look at it, the creepier it gets...

I love this, I think what really makes this image is that the title kinda indicates there's someone friendly in the attic, when you see the image your skin crawls just a little at the nape of your neck... Perfect use of the character too... she really lends herself to this viewpoint. Excellent composition, angle and POV... It's a fabourite straight away!
