Description

Hello! I had this in my folders and I took the shot because I was so amazed by the curly petals on this old mini rose. Yesterday I played a little with it to bring out all the contours and the texture in this lovely rose. I hope you like it. Thank you so much for your kind somments to my previous post and special warm thanks to those who added it to favs. Have a lovely and creative day. Well now that I finnished cleaning my house, the clouds came and hide the lovely sun. How rude :-)

your postwork has made this a very complex piece of fabric, you've accentuated edges, made the inner petals almost 3 dimensional, brought out the veins as if they were sculpted (they remind me of the veins on Michelangelo's hands, as in his David) and the violet color does make it seem like the 'end' of a rose, but like it's preserved from some photographic record. Once again you've done a whole metamorphosis with postwork. A really intense work. A fav.
