Description

After the cities are destroyed the forest takes back what was once hers :-) Nope, not getting all serious - just wanted to play with some of MRX3010's Shattered Worlds things ! I thought the 'Armoured bark' was a funny idea after playing around in Filter Forge. Fudged with the lens aberration for the bulgy effect Thanx 4 peekin'

There is a tree in my neighborhood that is growing around a bit of iron fence, and it looks a little like your armored bark! I love the textures here, they are so tactile--quite splendid. And I never would have guessed it was one of the BC things in the back!:-))

Yes, I've got that set too; although haven't gotten around to using it yet. Like what you did here, Gill. I was wondering, though, why the bulge effect? To get a more melted look?

Nice image!! I like the bulgy effect and the armored bark is a nice touch! Maybe it's trying to protect itself. Lol!!

This image is so "not you" it's wonderful!! The History Channel or Discovery Channel here (can't remember which) did a documentary about what would happen if we were to suddenly disappear. Exactly what you've got in this image...nature would take back what was hers!. This is great Gill!!

Creative works alway come from trying and testing and playing around. Otherwise our sensibilities stop us from trying new things. Excellent work.

Nice work - there's a wonderfully posed look to the image - and I can't put my finger on what it's similar to. Thanks for uploading this.
