Description

Kayla could feel the searing heat of the blasts even though they were nowhere close to her. Her dragon was more maneuverable than the city craft, but there would soon be more and she knew she couldn’t keep dodging and evading them. She knew that her dragon couldn’t outrun city vehicles over the desert expanses that had to be crossed to get back to her people. She wished she had listened to her parents and never left the village. She knew that she’d have to fight. That thought scared her because she wasn’t sure the dragon could stop the ship. Cool idea and render, great storyline to go with it. Nice work with the city blocks too, they make for a great backdrop!

Love the contrast between fantasy and sci-fi. The anachronism works very well here!
