Description

Well I am continuing my work on The Legends of Mernac, a fantasy wolrd-building project. This is my intrpretation of a War Ogre, one of the 20 Races which inhabit this fantasy world. See I can do something 'sides pretty gals!! ~wink~ The Ogre Story is not quite ready and it is late and toooooooooooo tired to finish it (it is among about 300 I have written over the years which I am slowly adding to the site).... but I had an itching to do an image.... and here he be! This of course is Daz's Troll - touch up on the texture. The background? - well, that is from NASA - the Crab Nebula.... also touched up a tad. In any case, I hope you like him. Rick

Know the feeling well. Sometimes I have images for stories that I am just dying to get out but at the moment I am deeply into another saga. Glad to see you let yourself break out and do a little forshadowing. Always love to see Hubble shots being used in art and the Crab is one of my favourite deep sky objects. It makes an excellent frame for the troll... the purple spiderwebs constrast nicley with the clean lines of the critter.
