Description

Peaceful and inhabited only by sheep...Lol. Ardvreck Castle is set in the most breath-taking Scottish west highland scenery and has a turbulant and bloody history. Clan wars, murder, betryal and deceipt are all part of it's past and the history of the nearby ruined Calda house. It was beautiful but cold today with the surrounding mountains covered in snow and topped with low grey cloud. Thanks for LOoking Fairy Blessings Emma

Great capture, I love the ruins and the sheep; I'm used to a white sky, it's what we see here most of the time!

Oh yes, I wonder how many notice the "sheep" in the window? How cool is that, huh? Beautiful scenery. It's awesome that a place with so much personal tragedy is now the home to one of God's most peaceful creatures!

Gorgeous! I've only visited Scotland once and I so want to return. It's a beautiful country, especially the highlands. Your work makes me miss it all that much more.
