Description

She has been battered From a long hard life But she still has moments of pride In simple little things That bring a smile On a face That is so tired From life She has a beauty That no one else has seen But me It hides Under her shame And humility From being poor She had dreams When she was a child But life has taught her That dreams are for children Seeing her smile Should make me happy But it only reminds me How much I failed her I could use a little favor. I am a little tired of writing depressing poems. I want to write beautiful love poems but I am in a little bit of a slump. Anyway to the favor, romantic music always makes me feel a little romantic if you know a good romantic song please let me know what it is. I will find it and listen to it and hopefully it will help get me out of my slump. Thanx :) P.S. I hope everyone likes my depressing stuff to hahahaha

So many truths in my poems, perhaps the world is depressing, and a sensitive soul you know how to prove. Superb, Applause (5) As for love, it seems that the music of today have forgotten him as most humans ..

Ah, Randy, it's just the way life goes. You write the words that come out, If you want out of your slump, go outside and look around you. You'll find something beautiful no matter how bad you think you feel. Write about that. As far as your song goes, listen to "Tall Trees of Georgia" by Eva Cassidy. It's not really a romance song, but it's haunting and simply beautiful. You can't help but feel better after listening to it--or anything else she sings!!
