With all the wind turbines being used to generate electricity it is easy to forget that our ancestors used wind power too. Notice the old buggy in the top left corner of the hill.

Oh-oh. This well is on electric power. Notice the pull rod is missing from the rotor's transmission, and also the electric junction box on the ground. The motor on the platform is less distinct. Why the owner switched to electricity is a mystery. The rotor blades and vane appear in good shape. I like the image.
