Hi, I'm Marilyn. Â I've been posting here on RR for a few years now and thought it was time to update my profile. Â It's been wonderful learning so much from the amazingly talented people here. Â I've had the chance to meet many in person and some have become great and good friends. Â Starting with a Kodak Brownie camera when I was about 7 or 8, moving up to Instamatics, Polaroids, then the Pentax K1000 that really got me on the way, I've been looking at the world thru a lens for a long time. Â Got the bug honestly; my dad was a photographer and gave me the gene!! Â Digital changed the world and I jumped in with both feet. Â You would've gone thru 100's of rolls of film in one day the way we can shoot and delete all day long. Â Progess...it can be awesome sometimes.
At any rate, RR rocks, the talent is over the top and I'm just gonna keep on shooting!!
Thanks for looking and keep those cameras rollin'!!
peace.....marilyn

This image resplendent in sharp clarity and vivid colors, Marilyn! The rubber ducky reminds me of a smiley face icon. The gazing ball, whatever that's supposed to represent, has stellar reflections, but I especially like the ball to its left, which those neat swirly textures.

I'm liking your friend more and more, what a collection of stuff she has...It's fun that you called this rubber ducky, because this ducky looks like he's thinking, "last time I invite them over!" The family that moved in and never left (and took over 9/10ths of the living room)...It's great against those huge orbs and other things; and that shell on the right looks like the orb has grown a horn. Wonderful collection, and the reflections on the ball make it all seem surreal. I really like this.
