Description

I wanted to keep going with this image, but I ran out of memory and Windows kept crashing when I tried saving it. I've always wanted a house with a barrel vaulted type ceiling and this is about as close as I'll probably get. Modelled in Amorphium and Bryce and then rendered in Bryce 4.

I love this image! The hi-fi itself was pretty good, too! Bryce 5 addresses the memeory problem a bit, I mean it's more scalable for different machines, give it a try...

This is very good indeed - the glass bricks are superb, and the shine on the floorboards is very convincing too. I like, muchly. Only one tiny criticism (And I'm being really picky here) are the shadows outside the window falling on the opposite direction to the light coming in through the windows?

The detail is going-on perfect and the lighting is superb. As I'm now 25% and 17hrs into a render to simulate a simple scene with realistic lighting, I know how long this must have taken to produce. Although I usually try and find constructive fault with renders rather than just offer praise, I honestly can't find anything to bang on about, so it's got to be a '10'.

Amazing attention to detail! I like the little reference photo clipped to the painting. The only thing I would change is speakers that go up to the ceiling and pissed neighbors peeking in the window.

Good work Dave, an image that one can stare at for quite some time.

I echo all the compliments, tho after viewing a few of these(room renders) I feel i should mention the scale of your floor texture....seems a bit large for flooring where i live any way, keep losing stuff in the cracks...lol,love the light splaying thru the glass bricks..great vision tho,..keep em coming
