Hi, my name is Ulla and I live in Switzerland. Besides having a talent in working with clay and modelling sculptures in ceramic, photography has been one of my fav hobbies since my teenage years. In the ninties when computers and digital cameras came into my life this hobby was intensified a lot.
Creating in 3d nowadays is my main focus, although my camera still stays with me.

Grieving is 100% natural. I experienced two in 2007 and am right with you during this time. It will get better, honest. Love your photo here.

Yes, time does help, but even years later, something will trigger (thankfully only briefly) those same feelings of sorrow and loss. It's okay to cry then, too. I know.

Excellent capture! Looks like a very cold rain. It's been a year since I lost two important loved ones within a short time. Each memory that comes up, gets to be less painful and more about the love rather than the loss. They each are with me in a different way now. I made books, and put all that I possibly could about each of them all in one place, so I don't worry if I might forget, and I shared them with others who cared, too. It helped me. Hugs and blessings!

Beautiful capture! Give yourself time... it will get better. You never stop missing lost loved ones, but the pain and sorrow does find relief in the passing of time. hugs

{{{hugs}}} Although it never really goes away, it does get less with time. It's good that your father was a man worthy of such pain. Cherish the memories and he will always be in your heart.
