Description
Around the world in 80 days.
Fourth in a series captured on film October 1988 at the Hot Air Balloon Festival, held annually in beautiful Albuquerque, New Mexico.
See the February 24, 2009 posting of No. 1 for more details on my trip.
Pictured is the same balloon at different altitudes.
Thankx for coming by, and have a flamboyant Friday.

Cool shooting and a great job of restoring your color pics from a previous era...let's see Cenozoic, Mesozoic, Paleozoic...no, no, the era of film, that's it! Like your new avatar. Quite a hat:)

Wonderful series; I'm curious if being so close to the "fire" is frightening when you're in the basket... Great shots!
