That's an excellent work, Ana! The title is just perfect, "Today" wouldn't match it!

You've moved this lamp and table right to the edge of abstraction - I like how you've done this; great expressive sketch. Well done Ana.

"maravilhoso, maravilhoso, e maravilhoso!" (nosso querido amigo, Martin!) I agree. And I agree with Tim too—how you border on abstraction, "great expressive sketch". And I agree with everyone else. (Nikolay called you "Mark," lol! An innocent mistake—but he couldn't have given me a greater compliment, believe me!!!) Forgive my only writing English tonight, I'm still recovering and my translation is pretty bad right now! But Ana, this is so free & so energetic! I agree with Martin that there's a "looseness" here: It's like you 'thought' the painting onto paper. It moves with the speed of emotion & thought. It really feels like pastel oil. And your highlights: Whoa. They're perfect. This is an explosion of emotion, and it shows how expressive you are with each stroke. Your bushes and your pencils and your pastels all move across your page in bursts. Just beautiful. So glad you can express this now...your blues are just wonderful.
