Very impressive texture and geometric shapes, like these 'teeth' in the middle. I agree with Tina about the red colour and the crushed velvet.

Oh! They're right! This is wonderful! (tho I'm not as thrilled with the diagonal line) The textures and colours are amazing and evocative. Very, very nice

I'm with the crushed velvet crowd!! The diagonal line is a bit off-putting but the blurring across it is fabulous. If this is gnarl, and I think it is, you've conquered most of those darn artifacts.
