Description
When I was taking the photo I thought I was capturing a hawk,but after looking at the images ,it looks like an owl?Anyone know for sure.

It looks like you have a male Northern Harrier (Circus cyaneus) from what I can see. Nice shot!

Bravo this is very rare in the UK but I think you will find this is in fact Montegu's Harrier Circus pygargus, which can be mistaken for the Hen Harrier (Northern Harrier) Great shot..

I live in Southwest Canada,so the Northern Harrier seems more likely.
