IMHO. . .I find the flairs at her hands so bright that they detract from the overall render and for all that brightness the cast no light or shadow. On the other hand I don't know the character or her story. . .soooo. Again, just my opinion.

I have to agree about the lighting. It's not the brightness so much, but more that the rest of the image betrays that there was no light source near her hands. Try placing two lights there so that they realistically cast shadows and light the objects the way it would really happen. The character has a lot of potential, you just need to work on some details. Great start!!

Love the face and hair not to mention the rest of the package, but you knew that was coming they are right about your light effect. The other problem is since her costume is reflective it should also reflect the light effect as well as the lightning effect. I see that it already shows that effect but the shadow is off too. She's still a hottie though.

Really nice image, the lighting is very cool
