Here are my current versions of the 4 Tarot suits & the Aces corresponding to those suits. I changed which emotion-Icon to use for the suits based largely on correspondences between the 4 temperaments & the 4 suits according to "The tarot : history, symbolism, and divination" by Robert M. Place. : Tarot___Modern__________Social_____Temperment: Suit____Suit____Element_Class____R.Place_____Mine -------------------------------------------------------Cups____Hearts__Water___Priest___Choleric____Melancholic Swords__Spades__Air_____Noble____Phlegmatic__Phlegmatic Coins___Diamond_Earth___Merchant_Melancholic_Choleric Wands___Clubs___Fire____Peasant__Sanguine____Sanguine In line with the correspondence between the suit of Swords and the Mentally oriented temperament, I changed the Sword to a Fountain Pen ("The pen is mightier than the sword"). I deviated from those correspondences in that the angry or Choleric temperament seemed to fit more with the merchant/earth/diamonds/coin suit than the priest/water/hearts/cup suit (and the reverse for the sad or Melancholy temperament). Like all my Tarot cards so far, they are not sized for print & cut or even finalized in design (they are still a WIP).
