I have always called this type of tree - a bread tree. But alas, I am told that it is a sausage tree. Interesting either way. Thanks for stopping by, taking a look and for your comments. Dana P

What a fascinating sight! I've never seen such a thing. I looked it up, and the pictures I found of a sausage tree match yours, so I can only agree with the designation. (No prior experience at all!) What a great shot ... you'll have me thinking about this for a while!
