Description
This ranunculus was about one day past perfect when I found it at the garden center, but I thought its slight imperfections added a touch of grace ... the petals thinning out to crepe paper transulscence.
It seems like forever since I've gone on a flower binge. With Spring finally just around the corner, I might go nuts!
Some would say it's a short trip. :)

yes, you really did capture the multi-textures of this flower. The petal edges almost feel like silk or even fiberglass-like material...and the highlights feel like nature's own painting. I agree with Andrea, it leans out of the screen and begs us to touch it. I've always thought flower shots were easy to do 'ok', but very hard to do really well. This is really well. It's beautiful to look at.
