Description

One more with my latest structures.This one began as a test of two new textures I created in Photoshop using photos from cgtextures.com.I liked the look on the building,so I duplicated it and created a new custom sky and atmo.I wanted them to be set in a scene reminiscent of Endor,but since there is no Ecosystem in Bryce I had to improvise.There are twenty-one terrains in this...two for the hills(one rendered in a customized version of Autumn Hills,and a duplicate that was enlarged slightly and rendered in a tweaked foliage preset).The rest are copies of one terrain that I used the paint effect in the terrain editor and painted spikes over the screen area.Smoothed,rendered in the customized Autumn Hills terrain texture,duplicated and set over the mid-area...these were then duplicated,enlarged and rendered in the foliage texture.I turned off anti-alias on all the terrains,added the ships and rendered in Superfine.Postwork involves sig,engine flares and spots on the buildings.Look close and you'll see one ship about to exit the hanger deck.Thanks for viewing and your comments!

I'd say your "ecosystem" for Bryce worked pretty well. LIke the coloring in this one very much.

Fabulous modelling work and your Bryce 'eco-system' creation is fantastic. I love your new buildings and as ever your spacecraft are great, I particularly like the blue jetstreams from the engines. Cool hanger deck as well, nice ambient lighting coming from it. Tony.
