Note: It is sad and I am so very sorry for my friends on here, that I had to take all my stories and poems off my gallery. Someone who is clearly not like the rest of us on here steals my work. I know that all the people who comment on my work are my friends and it is clearly someone who lurks to see what they can steal for themselves, completely disregarding the time and love gone into each of my pictures.

I used 14 photos taken on my Finepix S5000.

You know, Miss Jane, your enchanted forest compositions have all been fabulous, and the dedicated result of a lot of loving effort, in which you've put your heart and soul, but it suddenly struck me that there is one item missing in this series...the Cheshire cat from Alice in Wonderland! I remember it sitting up on a tree limb, smiling down at Alice. In any event, superb clarity, lighting, DOF, and textures in this one!!!

It's wonderful that your viewers appreciate how much dedication you put into these pieces, and I'll add how much you put into making them into a series...A very sweet ending to it all (I guess you'll have to go rest now, like finishing a play or a novel) (when actors/actresses finish a huge play, they collapse!) You've once again placed your cat photos in wonderful positions across your picture, placing them seamlessly in the most difficult poses & places as if you simply found them that way. And of course you have wonderful understanding of cat expression & its many 'personalities', as it moves, seeks, rests, etc. It's so nicely woven into your story, and your story ends with a very kind vision of life. You can rest now, that is until the next piece hits you in the night! I can't get over Amy in the tree trunk (Amy, I hope it's you 'cause I'm still confused by the names!), and Freddy lounging on the branch...very natural & organic; your paste-work is terrific. It's another of your pieces where the cats seemed poured from above, where everything kind of 'came into being' before our eyes and the magic just unfolded. No hint of your labor here. (A magician at work!) And you choose good backgrounds too, and put the pieces together well...well, I'm sorry the series is over, I looked at the earlier ones once more & they're for the child in all of us. But where there is this, there are others! Beautiful work once more. All light to you, Jane! Lotsa hugs too! m

Wow Jane, you bring tears to my eyes with this wonderful tale... the love of family but most importantly the love of self precisely because you are different is such a vital message of healing. Darn now I am crying. Magical work girl. It is all special, every bit of it, but I have to say I really love the pose of Freddy and how he curls around the branch and of the gray tabby coming out of the tree stump. Very special work and I am so very glad to see so many people recognize it.
