Caught this hungry little bluejay in our backyard last summer.

We've been feeding out Jays for 8 years and they are fun to watch.They swoop in, go through each peanut lifting it for weight and shell thickness. When they find just the right one, they fly off with it to eat it elsewhere or, believe it or not, I've seen them bury them in the front yard. This is a fabulous shot and I'm impressed you were able to get him to hold still long enough to get such a marvelous shot.
