Description

Messerschmitt Me-262. Created with CINEMA 4D v.10 and Advanced Render. I created this image as follows: 1 .- I used a photo in format (.jpg) as the basis for further processing. 2 .- In HDRShop program I created an image in Radiant format (.hdr) from the previous (.jpg). 3 .- I created on the ground and I have Cinema 4D texturing to the image (.jpg) above. 4 .- For the sky and the lighting of the scene because there are no sources of light in it, I used the image (.hdr) created earlier. 5 .- I have created a human figure with DAZ3D for "dress" the fighter pilot. 6 .- The model of the Messerschmitt-262 belongs to Anders Lejzack, but I have completely changed the original texture. 7 .- I open this model in DAZD and I have composed the action of the pilot. 8 .- Then I exported in format (.obj). 9 .- I have finished composing the scene in Cinema 4D and 10. This is the final result. The post production was done with PICASA 3 More, coming soon... Messerschmitt Me-262.

A lot of time spent with the process - it is not possible to generate a true hdr from one photo but for lighting a scene they can sometimes work. Your scene needs more light and a seperate backggound image would have let you give more power to your hdr lighting image. I look forward to seeing your next one.

For Becco_UK Indeed, as you stated in your post, a photograph, however big it is, 10.000x6000 pixels, you can not create an HDRI image, but to emulate its effects. With this picture I just wanted to test the feasibility of the concept, without visible light illumination. I am currently working on a new model that is supported a light source with precise coordinates solar longitude, latitude, date and time. The process is working well since the images gain in brightness and color but lose some artistic glamour. I'm still working on it and hope to show results soon. Best regards, José Luis Martín.

A lot of work and well worthwhile.I'm not sure the image would be improved by more light. The detail is here and such images are never captured at the perfect time. This has an authentic old picture feel that I like.Excellent and I look forward to more.
