i first started with fracals  two years ago when i had a lot of time on my hands due to medical problems. in the beginning it was just a meaningfull passtime but recently i've became hooked on apophysis. it's by far my favorite piece of software ever.
During daytime i work as a theatre technician , i also enjoy photograpy but i 'm just starting out and havent made anything worth publishing yet.I also take an intrest in music and reading but in a passive way.
as for the question how legit am I? I would only mary a gril if she is named JUlia and i would only marry a man if his name is sierpinsky. ;p

Ok, Maarten, I have a couple comments for you. You need to make some of these fractals "pop out" and catch the eye. Sinus, keenut, switch, eye am, share---these all have a focal point. This one, fossil fuel, and the one after this, the sun one, are more like gently swirling backgrounds. They are attractive, but they don't grab the viewer. They need a focal point. Even a more disparate (distinctly differing) palette would make them pop out. The other thing is that I think you need to render out bigger images. These are so small that I can't get a good look at them. 3 x 3 inches would be good. Me, I like to wander around inside images, so 6 x 6 would be better. With apophysis, I know the renders can take a while, but you can do a batch- render and let them cook while you sleep. (Geez, I feel like I'm being mean--you're always so complimentary-- but I know you want to make some good art, so I hope it's helpful.)
