the only thing I miss in this painting is a little more focus: Maybe you intended it this way, but it seems like the photograph (or scan) was a little unfocussed. In any case, the painting itself has real texture and 'heft', like it's made of successive layers of paint and other materials piled up on each other, it feels richly layered. And the yellows & whites in the center almost seem like a galaxy being born, or some macro of a seed giving birth. Your reds are strong too. It does feel like spirit moving, and it's always so nice to see painting from you—in fact from your whole family here on rosity. This feels almost like a photograph of a star exploding in deep space! Very suggestive work...
