Description

Another shot of the fence that surrounds the oriental garden. I've never seen rope used as fasteners but I'm pretty sure it is mostly ornamental in this situation. Thanks for looking.

I have used rope to fashion fences and temporary rafts before. In this instance, it is very decorative as well as functional. Excellent pov.

I've seen bamboo tied fences. One advantage is that it can be opened easily by sliding the pieces to one side if desired. Some very large sailing boats were also tied or laced together (but a bit tighter, LOL). Nice texture to the shot, those ropes have been there a while!

Would definitely keep individual pickets from falling off. I like photos like this...makes one think a little beyond just observing and moving on... Lots of interesting textures to reach out and touch too.
