Description

This morning I took a walk, but I forgot my camera. And even if I had my camera with me, it was so cold that I wouldn't use it. So I wrote this poem instead. Have a great day! * * * Wind followed me along the edges Of the semi-frozen pond Ducks Noisy seagulls were disturbing slightly This otherwise silent place Three dead fish Quite big – about twenty inches long I noticed them on the grass They were frozen too Like everything else That didn't manage to live In this cold and windy morning

So lovely words. Wind is a whisper that likes to play with the Cold, but only us are the eternal children :-)

You've provided a vivid description. I feel I've been right along with you seeing all the same sights. I've just begun to come to the Writer's Gallery myself after lots of time in the Photography Gallery. I'll look for more:)

Sometimes you just take a picture with your mind and we can still see what you saw--you did this beautifully!!

This is such a wonderful description, and I can see in my mind's eye how you would photograph the scene. Light streams in from an unexpected angle, highlighting exactly what you want us to see ... the fish a bit disturbing, but beautiful nevertheless. I hope to see more of your writing ... this is wonderful work!
