Description
Just a character study I did for my Intro to Maya class, following techniques from Maya at a Glance, and the low poly character tutorial in Character Modeling with Maya and Zbrush.
Body modeled in Maya, hair modeled in Zbrush with a bump map created in Photoshop CS4 (never could get a clean normal map out of Zmapper). Textured in Photoshop and Zbrush, rendered in Maya.
Came out to a hair under 5000 polys, 3900 without the hair. Any critiques or suggestions are more than welcome--I'm still in my first semester of Maya, and basically clueless.
