Description

Great Spotted Woodpecker - male ....finally I also got “him”. So far only its wife saw. Woodpeckers are very shy and I had very carefully creep up and air stop. It was worthwhile itself! Today it snows for a change again! ....many thanks for the nice remarks and favorites on my previous photos!

What a lovely woodpecker. Excellent capture. Yeah it is not easy to catch such one. Over long time we have a woodpecker coming to eat at our feeding tree. I maneged to take a long line of pictures and I made a little funny animation out of it :)
